I support my students in many different ways. An area that everyone on my case load needs support is literacy development. Not only will this increase their independence and opportunities in life, it will open their eyes to the worlds that can exist in a good book. Organization and comfort are also important in any library, so I am also asking for a rug to sit on and containers to sort books. I want a classroom library that is not only an area of exploration, but also a safe space when a student is having a challenging day. A well stocked library can help increase their reading skills and provide a peaceful place in a buzzing environment. Help us create a space that can nurture our readers in every way.

About my class
