I teach an amazing class of students with special needs. They are a heartwarming bunch who bring a smile to my face daily. I love watching and helping them learn. I enjoy watching them work towards each small victory and being a part of their learning. Due to the variety of needs in my classroom the day can be a little challenging but that is what makes it exciting. My students attend a school in a lower socioeconomic area and that has meant that teachers need to supply many of their own supplies. I would love to be able to provide my students with physical education equipment so that we can do more activities during P.E. and even play games. I would also like to be able to incorporate more art. Art allows students to learn and explore their creativity at the same time.
