The Chromebooks and headphones I am requesting today will help all of the kindergarten students in my room. We use technology in the classroom every day as part of a diverse learning environment. The little ones love using the online programs that are available to them. I am asking for headphones so that each child can focus on their learning and not get distracted by other students working on different assignments. I am also asking for Chromebooks so that I can have more than one child working online at a time. We currently have one student computer in the classroom and 25 little ones who all want a chance to be on the computer. I use rotations as part of my teaching style. This means that I have four different centers going (library, word work, teacher-led instruction, and writing). The goal is to include computers as one of the centers my students will rotate between. With your help, this goal can become a reality and my little ones don't have to fight over one computer again.
