My ASD students are finally returning to the physical school building after months of being physically separated from the teachers and staff that are crucial to their academic success. However, as we transition back academic loss and sensory regulation regression is quite evident. Instead of a classroom of spaced desks, I'd love to provide my kids with a therapeutic warm space filled with a variety of equipment that provides sensory input. The goal is to help my students calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others
