My students are awesome. They are funny, kind, witty, talented, and all around charming, and they are the reason I love to teach elementary school. Every day, I am astounded by what they are able to do and the music that we make together, and they are truly a joy to be around, even on days when we are chatty or silly. My school is a fantastic place to work, and I feel loved and supported by many people. I see and feel this on a daily basis while directing traffic or while walking down the hall being greeted by students. I am truly blessed to be here. My mission is to make our music program something that is talked about in the community not only because what we can do, but by also because of my students' love of music, which is apparent from the moment they walk into my room. I am excited for what we will be able to do in years to come and I hope that you, dear reader, can help us reach that goal.
