I am excited to begin my 7th year of teaching at Capital Prep where I have absolutely fallen in love with the school culture and community that we have built together since the start-up of our Lower School in 2011. I have always had a passion for learning and decided to transfer that into a personal goal of having my own classroom one day. I earned my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English from Central Connecticut State University. What I love most about teaching is building a classroom environment that is student-centered, respectful, safe, organized and celebratory. I believe that all my students can succeed and I make sure they know that I will help them achieve their best. I look forward to working with Donors Choose to make this coming school year overflow with learning and fun!
