My project will give my room a space with alternative seating where my students can work or read. I will use the area for my students to read leveled books of their choice from the classroom library. Silent sustained reading will provide them the opportunity to build fluency and comprehension. It will also build their love of reading and make them lifelong learners.
My students also complete tasks or partner work . They are always looking for the right spot to work in so having cushions or pillows will allow them the flexibility to move freely around the classroom to find that right spot.
