My students need Kindle Fire tablets in Kid-Proof Cases, in order to access books. My school is an alternative education school within a public school system. I have students ranging from Kindergarten -5th grade most below academic levels. My students crave the exposure to things their peers have. However, we do not have that access because my students are labeled "trouble". I want my students to be engaged while independently reading. Kindles will keep them interested, as opposed to the malfunctioning (Fisher Price) cassette player that I have.
