I currently utilize online platforms such as Schoology and Teams to connect with my scholars. I need uninterrupted technology to engage my diverse group of scholars. I want to provide meaningful, engaging lessons through the use of iMovie’s, uninterrupted guided practice using a drawing board, and allowing my scholars to participate in reciprocal teaching and creative communication through the use of a document camera. My goal is to promote student interaction and engagement.
More technology in the classroom enables teachers to provide students with college and career readiness tools. Technology is essential to teaching problem solving skills in the 21st century. Funding this project will give my students access to great tools that will allow them to communicate their learning with peers.
This technology will create more student discussion and promote student interaction and engagement. With innovative thinking becoming a continuous emergence in education, students will benefit from technology integration through curriculum. Obtaining a document camera, iPad, and iPad pencil also helps me in my efforts to differentiate my instruction to meet the varying learning needs of my scholars.
