I teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at a self-contained school for children with autism. The students in the school range from kindergarten to 22. My students depend a lot on structure and organization throughout the day. They need the supplies to be ready and the structure to be set in order to become more independent and go throughout each school day smoothly. The students in my class have a wide range of skills and abilities, along with many sensory needs.
