My students come from rural NC where there aren't many musical opportunities, especially when trying to learn instruments. They are extremely talented and are always looking for an outlet for their creativity. Learning to play the ukulele will give them this opportunity that they may not be able to get otherwise. They work extremely hard and always give 100% with anything they try. They deserve the chance to learn a skill that they can take with them the rest of their lives. So many people have said that if it hadn't been for music, they would have hated school. Let's give these kids a reason to believe in themselves and succeed!
