The students in my classroom are in grades 6-8 and come from a variety of environments and backgrounds. About 60% of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of these students have not been exposed to the technology being used in high paying careers. These students are intrigued by the various STEM projects I have introduced and have asked for more.
