I teach in an under performing urban school. My students are often quite poor. A large percentage of the students in my school are receiving free or reduced lunch and breakfast. My district has been going through financial difficulties, which have affected everyone, including the children. They are in need so much and have so little. I want to make sure they have opportunities to use technology like children in more affluent communities. The children I teach deserve better than they have.
