Even though I teach kindergarten in a town of 50,000, it is an inner city school. Their is a group home behind us and a high school on one side. Most of my students are Latino and English learners. My school is low income, everyone receives free lunch. Our test scores are rising and there is an emphasis on students having access to technology.
My students and families are amazing. It is a great place to be and work.
