My students do not have the means to travel. Many have never ventured outside of our city, unless on a school trip. My goal is to afford the opportunity for students to go on virtual field trips, research different areas of the world, that would be conducive to our learning experiences within the classroom. All of our students are special. We have a computer lab in our school, however it is often occupied for the other students to prepare for tests. These tablets will allow my students to not only "travel" but prepare for their future by allowing them to use online programs geared specifically for them. I will be able to differentiate instruction by developing online lessons student specific. This will reach each student and in all academic areas.
