Our school is located outside of downtown Phoenix in a rural community called San Tan Valley. We are a Title 1 school and a majority of our student body receives free or reduced lunches. Most of the students entering Kindergarten have little or no experience with science and sensory. In order to help assist the variety of learning styles within the classroom and expose them to experiences they normally would not encounter, I am hoping to bring more science and structured sensory play into the class. By doing this, I hope to enrich their lives and encourage a love of science and learning.
