Third graders are ready to move toward independence in their learning. Over the course of the school year, they are able to take on more responsibilities and thrive on their increased ability to make decisions in the classroom. Our school supports this kind of empowerment by asking students each and every morning to think about how they can make positive change in their own lives and the lives of those in their community.
