We are taking a trip around the world! I am teaching an after school class for 1st and 2nd graders on other countries in the world. My school is a Title I charter school in an inner city area. Many of my students do not leave the city and therefore, do not realize there are other countries and other people groups. I want my students to fully understand the diversity of our world and the geography of the Earth. I want their eyes to be opened to the vast world around them by using new books, Cd's, and activities!
