Our 6th and 7th grade students excel at STEM challenges including robotics. We utilize LEGO Mindstorm Robots and SeaPerch ROV's. Our specific need is in our Sphero unit.
Our Sphero robots are old and need to be replaced. Spheros are exciting and hands on! Students are able to complete specific challenges using the Sphero EDU app.
Spheros change colors, and react through rolling or vibrating. We have ramps and "skins" to add to the fun. Students learn advanced mathematical concepts and computational thinking with Sphero. They activities we use in the classroom are all aligned to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
