My students are 4th graders and I teach English/Language Arts. I share 2 classes with a co-teacher who teaches math, science, and social studies. We are in a rural school that services 4 small communities. Our average class size is 20 students with 2 sections of most grades. We are a very close community who really pulls together in times of need. My colleagues and even some students' parents are like a second family to me. Each year I can feel my heart swell for my students--as a teacher, there really is no better way to feel!
