I serve a lot of students who come to me with minimal literacy development in English. One surefire way to increase and strengthen their reading ability is to have a multitude of books available to meet them right where they are as readers. It's actually quite challenging to find books at these early levels, but the sets I'm asking for contain a huge variety of books that will meet their needs. Each box comes with a multitude of non-fiction readers. Most of the books are 8-12 pages, perfect for those readers who are just starting out. These sets contain science readers, which are sure to pique their interest.
