My students are vibrant 5 and 6 year Olds with a thirst for knowledge. 85% came into my classroom with no understanding of letters and sounds. They are beyond thrilled to start reading this year. My school does it's best to support learning. There is still a high shortage of materials at this school. Our school is in a low economic area. Most of my students have no access to books at home.
