I would like to create a technology station in my classroom. My students are tactile, visual, and auditory learners so using a tablet allows them to access information in ways that engage them and promote independence. The tablets would enable my students to access educational materials independently as they will be able to utilize features like voice output to read and listen to stories read aloud and the touchscreen to respond to visual material related to language and math concepts. Most of the students in my class utilize adapted writing materials but they can operate an iPad more independently because they are more familiar with it and it provides immediate feedback when they use the keypad to answer questions.
