I teach in a Title I high poverty school. My room is home to 19 incredible first graders who motivate me to be a better teacher every single day. In my inclusion classroom I have the opportunity of teaching regular education students as well as students with specific learning disabilities. Some students enjoy whole group, hands on activities while other students thrive in a small group, teacher led setting. Each of my students, unique in their own little ways, are energetic and eager to learn new things. My goal is to reach these students where they are and empower them to live up to their full potential.
