Thank you for visiting my classroom's site! We are learners, constantly improving every day, accepting where we need help, and taking responsibility for our academic growth. Sometimes we are crazy, too. The student's in my classroom follow The Writer's Workshop model and we need rich stories in Spanish and English that will inspire and model good story development and creativity. We need stories that connect to kids personally and mentor their writing skills. What is Writer's Workshop? Writer's Workshop nurtures the writer, regardless of age, to create, risk-free, written work based on the student's interest. Students plan, draft, edit, confer with their colleagues, and eventually publish their work within an assigned time, just like professional writers.
