My students are happy and eager to learn, however the neighborhood I teach in is low income and high risk. Many parents are unable to help with schoolwork at home so I really have to make sure that I am inspiring my students to want to do well on their own. I love to find ways of keeping them motivated throughout the year and making sure they have a personal connection with what we are learning.
