My students are industrious, respectful and eager to learn more about music. Many of my students come from low-income homes, so the opportunity to participate in band has been a luxury for them. Our school has a rich tradition of academic and musical success. However, the students are not currently reaching their potential. I know my students can achieve far more, and with adequate resources, they will.
