I just finished my second year of teaching and I absolutely enjoy it. I constantly think about my students and what I can do better for them; whether its a better way to teach a lesson, buying new resources, or trying to create a better classroom environment. I want my students to feel comfortable and welcome in my classroom so that they are not afraid to take chances even if they are unsure of themselves.
I also work at a low income school and I want to give each child the best possible education that I can. Many students in our school struggle with reading and math so throughout the day I pull many small groups at my table to work on these different skills so that they can have a better foundation before moving forward.
