I have a widely diverse group of learners, with students from various backgrounds, cultures, and race. Many students are English Language Learners, and my class is comprised of typically developing children as well as children with special needs. My students have a ton of energy, with unending curiosity and creativity, all tied together with a love of learning. Studies have shown that children who attend a high quality, literacy-based Pre-Kindergarten program have higher achievement test scores, repeat grades far less, graduate at a higher rate, and are more likely to attend college. My students need additional resources so they can practice their skills.
