My first grade classroom is comprised of 28 amazing students; many of which are second language learners. 20 out of my 28 first grade students speak another language at home. We are a diverse low socioeconomic district with 80% of our public school students eligible for free and reduced lunch. I consistently look for new and innovative ways to reach all of my students.
