My students are first graders come from very poor homes. They do not get much support at home. The students have a desire to learn but sometimes their are so many other issues that they are dealing with from home that interferes with their learning. The school is a Title I school in as at risk area of town. The school is very old and they are trying to update the school with new materials and other technology.
