I'm a first grade special education teacher. I have 26 students including some students with special needs. My students are happy, curious, loving, need encouragement and lots of support and reassurance. One of our goals is to obtain flexible seating. My first grade class would like to have two bean bags; three wobble chairs and two yoga balls. They could benefit from flexible seating to assist in their independent reading, writing, peer/buddy reading, small group, self-regulation breaks, and other classroom activities. We are also trying to obtain 26 headphones for their laptops. The headphones will be used daily as one form of academic intervention/enrichment. This is an effective way to connect with students of all learning style. I am very thankful for your donation and for making a difference in each student's educational experience.
