My students need 2 laptops to put in our math fluency center.
Our school services over 700 Pre-K through 4th grade students. I teach two sections of math with 23 students in each. Most of my students do not have access to computers at home. They come to school eager to get on this program everyday, however, with only three classroom computers it is difficult to give all students a turn everyday. They absolutely love this program, and I have seen it work. Fluency is a struggle every year, and it is so important. If a child cannot fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide then they will continue to struggle with the rigorous curriculum we are facing today. My goal is for my students to be fluent with their facts so that they can have confidence to attack math problems and be successful.
