Our school services over 700 Pre-K through fourth grade students.
We are located in a high poverty area; however, my 23 fourth grade students come to school each day eager to learn. My class is an inclusion class with many different types of learners. Technology helps to meet the diverse needs of all my students, despite their intellectual level. With the implementation of Common Core, compass evaluations, and PARCC testing, the rigor and achievement levels expected of my students have been raised. Using technology, I can address the individual needs of my students through Google Apps for Education, which will allow them to reach their full potential. I want to give my students every opportunity to be successful, and Chromebooks, when used as a teaching and monitoring tool, can help them be just that!
