Engaging in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grade level topics and texts and building on others’ ideas and expressing their own ideas clearly are essential during and after high school, and in everyday life.
The chairs will help facilitate socialization for my students.
Functional communication SL.6.1 must be mastered for students to be successful in their community, high school, post-secondary education, military and/or the workforce. The chairs will allow my students to sit and interact with one another. My students with autism need planned and structured time to talk with their peers and teachers.
