I have students in 9th through 12th grades that participate in our high school baseball program. They are great kids who maintain high standards as students first and then athletes. They have to work hard because our school has taken away all funding from athletics. This means our students have to go out and do fundraising for every dollar that comes into our program. Not only that but our school requires our players to pay sports fees and fundraise money that they are required to pay the school just to exist as a program. Even with these demands the players work hard, learn a lot, and grow as individuals in our program.
