The students in my class are caring, enjoy being in school, love helping out others, and crave art and science activities. There are 30 students in my class, many who can speak more than one language. We are a Title 1 school in South San Francisco. School is our second home and our classmates have become family. Our school is a caring community and helps students academically and supports their well being.
At the end of the day, my class does an appreciation shout out. It is a very warming feeling for students to hear appreciations about themselves from others. Students are recognized by peers for having done something that is appreciated. Students in the class build strong bonds and self esteem.
