My class consists of 20 third graders in a 3rd - 5th, Title I school.
They come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Not all of the students have a computer, Internet, or technology at home to assist in their daily learning. I would love to give them that opportunity.
We only have 1 student computer in our class, so having them use technology regularly, is nearly impossible.
While we are often told to teach in groups, and we often group by student ability, iPads would allow the students to be individuals and think for themselves, as well as, receive instruction on their level!
My student deserve the opportunity to explore new things and have the opportunity to do that in their own way.
