I teach students in a low income/ high poverty neighborhood on Chicago's south side. Students may face hardships at home and in the community. However, they come to school ready to learn and to love. My students are hard working, passionate, and goal driven. They are self reflective and enjoy improving themselves in various ways. Students learn at all modalities and enjoy a hands on learning experience.
