My students are curious hard working learners. They are new to the concept of school, and most come from home having no early learning opportunities prior to pre-kindergarten.
My students are amazing and energetic learners! I teach Pre-Kindergarten in an inner city high poverty, high English Language Learning school. They come from low income homes and the majority of the students are on free or reduced lunch programs. Our students have little access to books and resources outside of the school.
All of my students enjoy being read to. They are a curious, imaginative, and eager bunch! They love finding letters and words that they can read within a text, and use buddy reading opportunities with students from upper grades to hone their concepts of print.
