The students in my class are 3 to 5 years old who have not lived in the United States for very long. They come from low income families. Their families focus on providing them with the bare necessities to live day by day. They do not have the funds to provide them with many toys let alone creative ones which would allow them to expand their imaginations as well as their vocabulary.
