Reading is a big deal for my students. I encourage them to grow as a reader because reading is an essential part of life. In my experience repeative reading is key when establishing a better reader, but to much of one book creats behavior issues. The problem for my students is the lack of variety of books on their reading level, therefore they become bored and uninterested in reading. This donation will help my students have a wider variety of books to choose. Cutting down discipline issues and encouraging reading. Our goal is to read on the next grade level by the end of the year. With more books this will be achievable.
