I am fortunate to work for a school where we teach with a heart and have high expectations for all students. Our students are eager to learn and the majority of them have English as their second Language. With many of them being raised in Spanish speaking families, time at school is spent learning English. How we spend our time in the classroom is important to our learning and the more time we have, the more time we can spend on learning and exploring new ideas.
This project will benefit 24 first grade students. The students at my school are 92% Hispanic, 3% is white, 3% Asian and 2% African American.
