I work in an urban setting where students are eager to learn. Many of our students are on free and reduced lunch which prevents a problem when it comes to renting instruments. Currently out my 80 students, I have to rent instruments for 30 of my students. This has become increasingly difficult with the shrinking music budgets and at the same time there is an increasing interest in learning these instruments.
