In an ICT classroom, students with disabilities learn alongside general education students. An effective ICT classroom uses several different co-teaching approaches such as parallel and station teaching. Both approaches allow teachers to work with smaller groups to better meet each student’s individual needs. In my classroom, students are moving around interacting with each other in groups at different learning centers. Two drawbacks of using these approaches are that there must be enough flexible space in the classroom to accommodate both groups and materials must be prepared and organized in advance. Although we are placed in a spacious classroom with two meeting carpets, we do not have all storage needed to keep our classroom efficiently organized.
