The children here are resilient and beautiful just like the land that surrounds our community. Our school is our haven. It's a beautiful building in the midst of the rolling hills of South Dakota. Our school is beautiful but its beauty is no where near the beauty of our students and our community. My students are energetic and funny. They are confident despite the stress of the outside world. The children in this community are independent and lovely. I am incredibly lucky to be their teacher.
