My students have moderate to severe special needs and attend a Title 1 school. Some are nonverbal and most have difficulty with fine motor skills. Each week, I am overjoyed by how much they are progressing, whether it be learning to carefully turn the pages of a book, roll a ball to another student, or walk from one adult to another. I am also amazed by how involved and supportive their parents have been, and I have enjoyed working in partnership with them to see these incredible children succeed.
