We are a High Needs High School in the eastern part of Union County, North Carolina. Our school is a high poverty school with more than 70% of our students receiving free meals every day. My students love learning math but the teachers I have met prior to starting here this year say they are experiencing "apathy," or not applying their knowledge or seeing why the math courses in the upper levels are important.

About my class
