I work in a urban setting that is high poverty. These students do not have exposure to a variety of books. This is a co teaching classroom with special education, including reading levels from 1st through 5th grade. There's a group of ESL students whom English is not their first language. The classroom is a coteaching classroom with both regular education and special education teacher. We also receive support from an ESL teacher. The students are in great need.
