I believe that making art is a journey of discovery regarding art materials, technical skills, and the world of artists past and present, but most of all students must be willing to be where they are and accept their skill level today. Hard work and curiosity about content and process will allow students to grow. Visual art class is a place to critically think and discuss and get into the flow of creation!
